Bettor Bitcoin

Bettor Bitcoin is Football Cents' bitcoin-backed betting marketplace. It's a game for sports bettors who want to be invested in Bitcoin.  Bettor Bitcoin uses a currency called "mbitcoins" which are a stablecoin initially worth 1 milli-bitcoin each. Mbitcoins are backed by 10 bitcoins with an initial supply of 10,000 mbitcoins.


Mbitcoins gain value relative to the 10 custodied Bitcoins as fees are burned on football betting.  Bettor Bitcoin has a payout rate of 99% on betting events, equivalent to fees of 1% on every betting market.  With a high volume of sports betting the currency goes up in value relative to Bitcoin, benefitting all owners.  Bettor Bitcoin does not pay out miners or pay any staking rewards, and the initial supply of 10,000 mbitcoins can only reduce over time as coins are destroyed on betting fees or by being sent to burn addresses.

To maintain the peg to Bitcoin, a custodian holds the 10 bitcoins backing the currency until conclusion of the game, at which point those bitcoins are sold and players are paid out to their preferred withdrawal method.
